Taking Care Of Your Pen / Pencil

Since your pen is made from real wood, it needs the same care as any fine wood product requires. By following the instructions below, you will ensure years of beauty and enjoyment.

We have sealed the wood with cellulose sanding sealer, applied a shellac based friction polish and then applied a protective coating of Renaissance Wax. We recommend that you, as the owner, reapply wax as the finish wears from normal use. 

Use a soft cloth to buff up the wax as needed. Don't use any cleaning agents not intended for use on wood. Never use any kind of abrasive pad to clean your wood or gold plating. Never use any cleaning or finishing product that contains abrasives or cleaning agents in the formula. Car waxes have fine abrasives in the formula to clean the surface and should not be used.

Floor care and furniture care products are appropriate for use on our wood products. Paste wax is easy to apply and buffs to a high gloss shine. The gold plating may be cleaned with a damp soft cloth. Do not use any abrasives on the gold plating as the gold plating will be removed by the abrasive.

Warranty

Our warranty reflects our total confidence in the quality of our writing instruments.  Our pens & pencils are guaranteed against any workmanship defect or mechanical failure for one year.  For any required service please send the instrument to us and it will be repaired, reconditioned or replaced free of charge and returned to you.

4) We don't accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit but we will do what it takes to help you claim / resolve the issue.

5) We reserve the right to alter our prices at any point throughout the year.  However we will not increase our prices near the Christmas period.

8) Our company cannot be held liable for any inaccuracies of illustration, description or definition.

9) Please make cheques and postal orders payable to Gary Bray.  Any payments in the name of Bristol Wood Crafts will be returned to sender.

10) All orders received after the postal break for Christmas and New Year will be dispatched on the 3rd & 4th of January 2008.

11) Please note that as each piece of timber is a natural product your purchase may differ slightly in colour and figure.

12) Any faulty items must be reported to us within 10 days of you receiving your goods.  A full refund of postage will be issued in the form of postage stamps.

13) Please allow 14 working days for order to reach you.  Please feel free to enquire if wish.
